Patricia (Kendziora) Sprenger

Certified Pilates Instructor

Studio Owner

Patricia has been teaching authentic Pilates for 14 years. She was certified by Romana Kryzanowska, Joseph Pilates' prodigy, at The Pilates Studio of the Midwest in 1998, after completing over 700 hours of observation and student teaching. After certifying through the Pilates Studio of New York, she taught both private lessons and leveled mat classes.

At the same time, she also taught at InSync Fitness in Highland Park. This was her opportunity to teach children both privately and group mat classes. Many were figure ice skaters and rhythmic gymnastics students. She found great joy in teaching kids, and pre-teens. They inspired her to be fun and creative in her teaching. Two things she still brings to her classes and clients today.

In the late summer of 1999, she was recruited to teach by a renowned studio, Powerhouse Personal Fitness, half way around the world in Sydney, Australia. She instructed a variety of private clients including teachers, teens, doctors, runway models, and swimmers. While in Australia, she began studying lymphatic drainage and practicing moving meditations, and cranial sacral therapy. She did in-depth studies with osteopaths weekly, and experienced rolfing, shiatsu, and Chinese herbs. After a year, she returned to Illinois where she taught at ice rinks, dance studios, health clubs and local studios.

In 2007, she opened her own studio,
Pure In Form, in Grayslake, IL. Her clientele ranges from 7 to 87 years old, and includes everyone from professionals to cancer patients, to pregnant women to champion ice skaters. She empowers clients with knowledge of how their bodies work, so they can move with ease. She works in conjunction with physical therapists and chiropractors to assist injuries including hip replacements, frozen shoulders, knee and back pain, among others.

In 2010 Patricia decided to pursue training in GYROTONIC® and  GYROKINESIS® movement.  In it is a blending of her love for dance and her passion for healing bodies.  The graceful movements of the GYROTONIC® system allow the body to move fluidly and achieve full range of motion in each joint, tendon and ligament.

Patricia and her husband have been married for ten years. She is a mother of an ten year-old son, and an eight year-old daughter. In addition to teaching Pilates, she enjoys dancing, swimming, playing, reading, and learning.

Patty Nader

Certified Pilates Instructor

Patty Nader has enjoyed movement all of her life.  She studied tap, jazz, and ballet for 9 years in her childhood and later taught group exercise classes.

Patty then changed directions in life after becoming a mother, and opened a home-based dog grooming business to allow more time with family.

After running her business for 10 years, Patty decided to return to school and pursue a degree in Health and Wellness Promotion.  In the process of earning her degree, Patty discovered Pilates and appreciated the many benefits it has to offer. (personally what……….)

Patty immersed herself a comprehensive Pilates training program so she could share the amazing experience of Pilates with others.

Patty received her Pilates training from Tensile Strength Studio in Lake Barrington, IL and through Balanced Body University.  She is also an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer and group fitness/indoor cycle instructor.

When Patty is not teaching movement to others, she enjoys long bike rides, running with her 3 dogs, gourmet cooking, gardening, and knitting.
